Reported Stolen Punts - The Bermuda Police Service Marine Unit is conducting inquiries into the reported theft of two punts from the Scott’s Harbour, St. George’s area, near the Swing Bridge.
The first, 'BB Gun', is described as green in colour with a blue bottom, measuring 5 feet by 3 feet and was removed sometime between 4pm Saturday, July 20th and 9:30am Sunday, July 28th.
The second is described as a white fiberglass punt, measuring 6 feet long bearing registration decal #649 and was removed sometime between 4pm Saturday, July 27th and 7:45am Sunday, July 28th.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these punts is encouraged to contact the Marine Unit on 247-1770 at the earliest opportunity.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested five people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.
Officers also arrested 10 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
