Arrest on Suspicion of Impaired Driving - Around 12:15am on Sunday, January 20th police officers were on mobile patrol along Spanish Point Road in Pembroke when they encountered a car being driven erratically. The officers caused the car to stop and spoke with the driver, a 40 year old Paget man, who appeared to be intoxicated. As a result, the Paget man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested seven people on suspicion of impaired driving. Officers also arrested 15 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
