Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sean Field Lament - I can confirm that the Bermuda Police Service is currently conducting an investigation targeting local offenders. There may be criminal offences in regards to illegal use of the internet and possibly pedophile related charges. Police are actively investigating the matter under Superintendent Detective James Howard and Detective Inspector Mark Clarke as we speak and it would be inappropriate to give further details as this may hinder the investigation in its earliest stages.

Botanical Gardens Industrial Accident Victim Remains in ICU

At last check Tuesday morning (March 10th) the 48 year old male worker injured in an industrial accident Thursday morning (March 5th) at the Botanical Gardens remained in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing by the Department of Health & Safety in collaboration with the Bermuda Police Service.
