Fire in Pembroke - Around 11:45pm on Wednesday, February 13th police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel attended a reported fire at a residence in the St. John’s Road, Berkeley Road Pembroke area. The fire apparently extensively damaged three motorcycles outside the residence before firefighters extinguished the blaze. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Arrests on Suspicion of Drug Importation
Around 7:45pm on Wednesday, February 13th a 25 year old Devonshire man and a 26 year old Hamilton parish woman were arrested at L.F. Wade International Airport on suspicion of conspiracy to import a controlled drug. Inquiries are ongoing and a court appearance is anticipated in due course.
