Update: Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - At last check the 33 year old Smith's parish man seriously injured in a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision along Palmetto Road in Devonshire around 1:45am Monday, February 11th remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
It appears that the victim was riding a motorcycle along Palmetto Road when he collided with a traffic island in the area of Barkers Hill.
Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses to this collision are encouraged to contact PC Yvette Henry on 295-0011.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested two people on suspicion of impaired driving. Officers also arrested 8 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
