Fatal Road Traffic Collision on Middle Road

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 33 year old Jereme Cumbermack of Sandys who was seriously injured in a traffic collision that took place on Middle Road in Warwick near to the junction with Morgan’s Road.

It appears that Jereme Cumbermack was riding his motorcycle east along Middle Road when he lost control of his cycle and collided with a car. Following the collision Jereme was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to Mr. Cumbermack’s family to assist them at this difficult time and a full investigation into this fatal collision is underway. The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for any witnesses to this fatal, to contact PC Sean Hassell the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1200 or via email shassell@bps.bm.

This marks the first road facility for 2015.

Recent Arrest

Around 11:50pm police arrested a 20 year old Hamilton Parish man who was wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation. The 20 year old male was arrested and taken to Hamilton police station where was processed and detained.  

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend police officers arrested four people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.

Officers also arrested 12 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
