Arrest on Suspicion of Impaired Driving - Around 6:45pm on Tuesday, December 4th police officers attended a reported two vehicle damage only collision on North Shore Road in Pembroke near the junction with Swansbay Hill. It appears that two cars were being driven along North Shore Road when they collided. As a result, both vehicles received extensive front end damage. Subsequently the driver of one of the cars, a 54 year old Devonshire man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. There were no reported injuries and inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
Two Vehicle Collision in Pembroke
Around 12:15pm on Tuesday, December 4th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision on North Street in Pembroke near the junction with Dutton Avenue. It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along North Street and a car was being driven along the same street when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle rider, a 36 year old Devonshire woman, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. She was apparently discharged later that day. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
