Building Search After Fire Confirms No Victims - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that no one was injured due to the fire at the old Canadian Hotel building on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton that occurred around 10:20pm Wednesday, December 19th. A thorough search of the building was recently completed, which involved the use of excavating machinery to sift through debris within the structure. There were no victims found and there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend, police officers arrested 9 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested two people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
