Bermuda Reserve Police Welcome Nineteen New Constables

At a 7pm Passing Out Ceremony on Thursday, November 14th held in the Prospect Police Recreation Club hall at Police Headquarters Devonshire, 19 men and women officially became Reserve Police Constables.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony included Commissioner of Police Michael DeSilva, Deputy Commissioner Mike Jackman, Assistant Commissioner Paul Wright, Acting Commandant Cannoth Roberts, Reserve Superintendent Sandra Beach and Reserve Chief Inspector Arnim Donawa as well as numerous family, friends and colleagues.

Reserve Police Constable 1528 Jermae Paynter-Smith, a former Police Cadet, was awarded the Baton of Honour. The Recruit Foundation Course graduates consist of six men and 13 women, ranging in age from 19 to 45 years old; 18 are Bermudians with one spouse of a Bermudian originally from Fiji.
