Burglaries in Smith’s Parish
The Bermuda Police Service continues to encourage the public to report any suspicious activity or individuals in their neighbourhoods, following recent reported daytime burglaries in Smith’s parish where mainly jewellery and electronic items were stolen.
The public is reminded to remain vigilant, making sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unoccupied, even for short periods of time.
We also continue to recommend that all residents secure their valuables out of sight, record serial numbers and details of all personal items as well as photograph their possessions - in particular electronic equipment and jewellery - so that if they are stolen and later recovered, there is an accurate way of identifying them.
Any suspicious activity should be reported at the earliest opportunity by contacting the nearest police station or calling the main police number 295-0011.
