911 Emergency / 211 Non-Emergency

Ron Michel E. Davis, FCMI

Commandant

Commandant Davis joined the Bermuda Reserve Police (BRP) on November 13th, 2000 and after successfully completing the Reserve Recruit Foundation Course, commenced his operational policing career in Central Uniform Division, Central CID (Housebreaking Team) and the Crime Patrol Unit. Eventually ascending through the ranks, as the Inspector and Officer-in-Charge of Crime Patrol, Commandant Davis implemented a professional development programme for officers under his command.

The establishment of the Bermuda Reserve Police Tutor Constable Programme, one of Commandant Davis’ most satisfying achievements, was established in conjunction with Deputy Commandant Russell. The programme remains in existence today and operates in keeping with his desire for the on-going development and training of Bermuda Reserve Police officers and for the restructuring of the organisation.

Commandant Davis served administratively as the Staff Officer to former Commandant Lewis, as an Inspector, and successfully completed a police supervisory/management workshop in Alberta, Canada hosted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, before assuming operational command of the BRP as the Deputy Commandant in 2015.

On June 1, 2023, Mr. Davis became the tenth Commandant of the Bermuda Reserve Police and made history as the youngest Commandant in the history of the BRP.
