Assistant Commissioner Antoine Daniels began his career with the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) as a Cadet in September 1984. Over the span of more than 27 years, he has served in various departments, including Criminal Investigations, Drugs, Operational Policing Support, Service Delivery Improvement Team, and Serious Crime. In the latter role, he successfully led several high-profile murder investigations.

In October 2009, Assistant Commissioner Daniels was promoted to the rank of Superintendent and appointed head of the Serious Crime Division. Under his leadership, the division was restructured to focus on the targeting and recovery of illegal firearms, violent gangs, and anti-social behavior. The division also bears responsibility for the investigation of murders and attempted murders.

Mr. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix. His formal education began at East End Primary School, followed by Robert Crawford High School for Boys, and he later graduated from Bermuda College. He has completed numerous police training courses both locally and internationally, including Major Case Management at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa, a DEA program in Quantico, Virginia, and a Drug Commanders Course at REDTRAC in Jamaica. Mr. Daniels also completed the International Commanders Programme (2008) and the International Strategic Leadership Programme (2010) at the Police Staff College in Bramshill, UK. Notably, he is only the second student at the Staff College to receive Executive Diplomas in both Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
