5th Road Traffic Fatality Named [Updated]

The Bermuda police service can now confirm the death of the 50 year old man, who was seriously injured, in a single vehicle motorcycle collision on Southside Rd., St. George’s on Saturday 24th of August 2024.

The victim has been identified as Mr. Steve Perinchief.

At the time of the collision, it is believed that Mr. Perinchief was traveling in an easterly direction, when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with what is believed to be a curb.

Life-saving efforts were immediately commenced and Mr. Perinchief was conveyed to King Edward Memorial Hospital for further treatment. He succumbed to those injuries a short time later.

This marks the 5th road traffic fatality for 2024.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Steve Perinchief.
