Man Shot & Injured on Court Street: Investigation Underway

Shortly before midnight on Saturday 20th, November 2021, police responded to a report of gunshots heard in the area of Jamaican Grill on Court Street in Pembroke.

Initial investigations revealed that a firearm had been discharged in the area and the scene was forensically processed.

A short time later, a 30 year old man with a gunshot wound was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries, which are not considered to be life threatening. He was treated then later discharged. It is confirmed that the two incidents are connected.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to encourage anyone who may have been in the Court Street area at the time of the incident, drove through the area with a dash camera between 11:30 pm Saturday and 12:30 am Sunday or anyone who may have information about this incident, to get in touch.
