At 3:50am on Sunday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Ten Pin Crescent. It appears that a car was traveling east on Middle Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, colliding with a palm tree. The car sustained extensive front end damage as a result. The driver, a 21 year old Devonshire woman, was taken to KEMH for treatment.

Breaking & Entering

Around 10:35pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Crosswinds Drive, Sandy’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:20pm and 9:40pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole several items of jewelry and $350 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there was 1 person arrested for suspicion of impaired driving and 8 incidents of breaking and entering (2 in Pembroke, 2 in Warwick, 2 in Southampton and 2 in Sandy’s parish). There were also 15 damage only road traffic collisions and 10 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
