Around 2:35 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo. It appears that a car was traveling east on North Shore Road, when a car traveling in the opposite direction behind another car overtook the vehicle in front, colliding with the car traveling east. As a result, two of the cars were extensively damaged. The driver of the overtaking vehicle, a 27 year old Devonshire man, was taken to KEMH for treatment of injuries to his right arm and subsequently arrested for suspicion of impaired driving.
Breaking & Entering
At 7:45pm on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Harvey Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 4:20pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole approximately $450 in cash and a diamond tennis bracelet. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 7:25pm on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Sound View Road, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11pm on Sunday and 6:50pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a silver Sharp 20" TV and a silver Pioneer DVD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Search Continues For Missing Cooper Twins
The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to search for 20 year old twins Jahmal & Jahmil Cooper, who were last seen at a residence on Crown Hill Lane in Devonshire in the early hours of Sunday, March 13, 2005. To date the missing men have not been located. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Jahmal & Jahmil Cooper to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-4239 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1-800-623-8477. There is a $10,000 reward offered for information leading to the location of the two missing men.
