Breaking & Entering

At 11:15pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a St. George’s guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 6:40pm and 10:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their apartment. The culprit stole 2 Motorola cellular phones, 1 Samsung cellular phone, 2 U.S. passports, 2 U.S. Airways plane tickets and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 4pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Radnor Road, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime earlier this week an unknown culprit gained entry into the home (which is under renovations) and removed 5 vertical sliding windows, 1 metal door, 1 glass sliding door, a red Suzuki RC motorcycle and a mountain bike (pedal cycle). Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 10:15pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a theft from a Paget guest property. The complainants stated that sometime between 3pm and 5pm on Monday, August 29, 2005 an unknown culprit stole a gold watch from their room. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weather Related Incidents – Hurricane Nate

The Bermuda Police Service is pleased to report that there were no storm related incidents between 12 noon on Wednesday and 11am today. The EMO will continue to monitor weather conditions and make the appropriate updates if and when they are necessary.
