Around 10:55am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Barkers Hill in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling east on Palmetto Road and the motorcycle was traveling west on North Shore Road when they collided at the round-a-bout at the bottom of Barkers Hill. The rider of the motorcycle, a 45 year old Pembroke woman, sustained abrasions to her face, shoulders and back. She was taken to KEMH for treatment and is currently in stable condition on a general ward. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The driver of the car, a 33 year old Southampton man, was not injured. The car received minor front end damage while the motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
