Theft

At 9pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle parked outside a Tamarind Vale, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 6pm on Monday and 5pm on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her car and stole a black & purple ladies leather coat. However, the complainant did not wish to make an official complaint at the time.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to remind the public that leaving a child or children locked in an unattended vehicle for any reason is considered child neglect and may cause harm to the child/children. It may also result in prosecution. We are aware of two incidents of this nature that occurred recently.
