Burglary

Around 4:55pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Fractious Drive, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 4:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole items of gold jewelry, a black Sony digital camera and a DVD game. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

At 4:20pm on Monday, Police received a report of a theft. The complainant stated that around 4pm she and her husband parked their car on Church Street in the City of Hamilton outside the Anglican Cathedral and went inside to make a delivery. A short time later they returned to their car and found an unknown man going through the complainant's handbag, which was in the back seat of the car. The couple confronted the suspect, who walked off. The complainant checked her handbag and discovered that her maroon leather purse containing approximately $60 in cash, £60 in cash and personal items was missing. The suspect is described as a light brown skinned male, approximately 5'9" tall of medium build wearing a black short sleeved t-shirt and long blue jeans. He is balding with some grey hair, has a moustache and is believed to be 35 to 40 years old. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
