Update: Reported Explosion at Ariel Sands Residence

A 46 year old Devonshire woman was treated for shock at the hospital and subsequently released following the explosion at an Ariel Sands, Devonshire residence around 6:25pm Wednesday, October 16th. A 63 year old Devonshire man who was also in the vicinity of the Dill Lane property at the time of the explosion was not injured and did not require hospital treatment. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

8 Year Old Pedestrian Injured in Collision on Children’s Ward

At last check the 8 year old St. George’s girl injured as a pedestrian by a car on St. David’s Road in St. George’s around 8am Tuesday, October 15th was recovering on the children’s ward at the hospital. An initial update regarding this collision suggested that she had been discharged; however that was subsequently found not to be the case. The Police Public & Media Relations Department apologizes for the inaccuracy.

Harbour Road Collision Victim Airlifted Overseas

The 52 year old male rental cycle rider seriously injured in a collision with a motorcycle that occurred around 5:30pm Friday, October 11th at the junction of Harbour Road and Morgan Road in Warwick has been airlifted overseas for further medical treatment.

Update: Injured Motorcyclist Recovering on General Ward

At last check the 29 year old Pembroke man apparently seriously injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a rental cycle around 8:20pm Tuesday, October 8th on South Road in Paget was in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
