Breaking & Entering

Tue, 2005-11-08

At 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a St. Monica's Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:45am and 5:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a black Samsung DVD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:05 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at The Mid Atlantic Boat Club on North Shore Road in Devonshire. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 3:45am an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises.

Injury RTC

Sun, 2005-11-06

At 7:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of South Road and Brighton Hill in Devonshire, involving a motorcycle and a car. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on South Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when they collided at the junction as the car attempted to turn on to Brighton Hill.

Assault

Sat, 2005-11-05

Around 4:15 this morning, Police attended a reported assault outside of Champions on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton. It appears that a fight took place between a few men outside the club, and it is believed a bladed weapon was used in the attack. As a result two men were injured and taken to KEMH via ambulance.

Breaking & Entering

Thu, 2005-11-03

At 7:10 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Lighthouse Road, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1am and 6:15am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment. The culprit stole $80 in cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Attempted Robbery

Around 7:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported robbery at Arnold's Express (the old Dismount Robinson's store) at the junction of Front Street and King Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 51 year old Sandy's parish man, who is the store manager.

Sexual Assault Investigation

The Bermuda Police Service is currently conducting inquiries into a series of sexual assaults in Southampton, Warwick and Paget which we believe may be linked. In the past several months, women have reported to the Police that they have been awoken during the early morning hours by a male who has assaulted them.
