Burglary

Tue, 2006-04-11

At 5:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Ewing Street, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9:55am and 5:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

At 2:40 this morning, Police on mobile patrol came across a man lying in the road next to a motorcycle at the junction of South Road and College Road in Paget. It appears that the single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury occurred when the rider, a 44 year old Paget man, lost control traveling west on South Road and collided with a wall.

Disturbance

Sun, 2006-04-09

Around 3 this morning, Police attended a reported disturbance outside the Emporium Building (Ozone Night Club) on Front Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers observed a large crowd in the area (approximately 70 - 80 people). Three bladed weapons were recovered from nearby bushes. Officers stayed in the area until the crowd eventually dispersed.

Missing Person

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public's help in locating 20 year old Kheng Goh, a Malaysian national. Mr. Goh was last seen at his place of employment, Sung Sing Restaurant on Victoria Street in the City of Hamilton, around 4:30pm on Saturday. He is described as 5'8" tall weighing approximately 140 pounds, clean shaven (no facial hair) with spiky black hair.

Assault

At 11:45pm on Thursday, Police received a report of an assault on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton near the junction with Chancery Lane. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 64 year old Pembroke man, who stated that he was resting in the bushes near Free Masons Hall when he was awoken by a group of men.

Burglary

At 11:50am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at Chapel Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between midnight and 6:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole $120 in cash and $5 worth of coins. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Disturbance

Tue, 2006-04-04

Around 10:20pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported disturbance outside Casey's Cocktail Lounge on Queen Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with patrons at the bar who stated that a man entered the establishment and brandished a machete. However the patrons managed to disarm the man, who then made good his escape on foot. There were no reported injuries.
