Burglary

At 3:55 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that sometime between midnight and 3am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their room. The culprit stole U.S. $120 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 4:35 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cedar Avenue, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11:30pm on Saturday and 4:10am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment. The culprit stole a Sharp 30" flat screen TV with an audio visual system and a PlayStation 2 video game system.

Firearm Incident

Around 11:40pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a shooting at the junction of South Road and Dunscombe Road in Warwick. It appears that two men on a motorcycle traveling east on South Road shot at a group of men standing on the grass verge at the junction, then made good their escape continuing eastwards.

Injury RTC

At 11:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Verdmont Road in Smith's parish involving a jeep and a motorcycle. It appears that the jeep was traveling east on Verdmont Road and the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when they collided near the junction with St. Mark's Road.

At 4:45pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Stonehaven Road, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that he arrived home around 4pm that day, and discovered that an unknown culprit had gained entry.

At 3 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Verdmont Valley View, Smith's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12:45am and 3am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a black handbag containing a silver Motorola cellular phone, $20 in cash and personal items.

Handbag Snatch

At 11pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported handbag snatch at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the victims, who are visitors to the island. The couple stated that as they walked back to their room from a restaurant on the premises, an unknown man grabbed the female victim's purse and made good his escape on foot.
