At 10am on Thursday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Smith's parish guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who is a visitor to the island. He stated that sometime between 10:30pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his room.
The Bermuda Police Service is aware of an increased amount of forged BDA $100 notes in circulation on the island.
Around 12 noon on Wednesday, Police received a report of breaking and entering at a Dolly's Bay Road, St. George's residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:30am and 11:55am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home.
At 10:10pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of indecent exposure at Par-La-Ville car park in the City of Hamilton. The complainant, a 35 year old Warwick woman, stated that around 10pm she went to the parking lot where her motorcycle was parked when she noticed a man standing nearby, clothed only from the waist up, committing an indecent act.
Around 7:45 this morning, a member of the public reported finding what appeared to be a human body washed up on the shoreline of Devonshire Bay in Devonshire. Police and a Government physician attended the scene and confirmed it to be a human body. The Government physician confirmed death at 9:15am.
At 11:40pm on Friday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trimingham Hill in Paget involving an auxiliary cycle and a motorcycle. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling west behind a car when the rider overtook the vehicle in front, colliding head on with the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
At 6:35pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:30pm on Wednesday and 8:30am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her car parked outside her Abbot's Cliff, Hamilton parish residence. The culprit stole $52 worth of coins. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 6:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the junction with Lane Hill involving two cars and a truck.
Around 9:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of willful damage at a Fentons Drive, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that an unknown group of young men attempted to gain entry into his residence, damaging a door in the process. However, when Police attended at 9:30pm they were met with a barrage of missiles thrown by unknown individuals in the area.
