Commissioner of Police Stephen Corbishley – As you are aware, two police officers have been arrested and suspended pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.

Details of that investigation cannot be revealed at this time, as the matter may go before the courts.

That notwithstanding, I note that any person subject of a criminal allegation is entitled to defend themselves accordingly and they are innocent until proven otherwise.

However, as a police service we must uphold the highest standards of integrity and deal with such matters in the same way we would with the public.
