Reported Serious Collision on Cobbs Hill Road [Updated]

Around 9:30pm Saturday, October 12th police, fire and ambulance personnel were dispatched to a reported serious collision on Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick near the junction with the Railway Trail.

Details are limited at this time.

However, it appears that two men on a motorcycle and a female 50cc scooter rider were involved.

All three were injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

An update on their medical conditions is anticipated in due course.

Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately three hours while the scene was processed.

Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Update: Monday, October 14th - Around 9:30pm Saturday, October 12th police, fire and ambulance personnel were dispatched to a reported serious collision on Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick near the junction with the Railway Trail.

Details remain limited at this time. However, it appears that two men on a motorcycle – both believed to be 25 years old – were traveling along the Railway Trail and a female 50cc scooter rider was traveling along Cobbs Hill Road when the collision occurred.

All three were injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately three hours while the scene was processed.

Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.


All incidents are under investigation.
