No One Hurt in Two Vehicle North Shore Road Collision March 7th

It has now been confirmed that no one was injured in a two vehicle collision that occurred around 12:15pm Thursday, March 7th on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Store Hill.

The crash involved a 78 year old female car driver, her husband (passenger) and a 40 year old male van driver. It appears that the car and the van were being driven in opposite directions along North Shore Road when the collision occurred, resulting in damage to both vehicles.

While the car’s male passenger was not hurt, he was transported to hospital via ambulance as a precaution – due to a pre-existing medical condition – and later discharged. Any witnesses are still asked to call 295-0011.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
