Stabbing Incident Reported in Sandys Parish Sunday Night

Detectives are currently conducting inquiries regarding a reported stabbing incident that occurred Sunday night (September 16th) outside Woody’s Restaurant & Sports Bar in Sandys parish.

It appears that a 45 year old Sandys parish man was confronted and injured near the waterside by an unknown man brandishing a bladed article – described as slim, light complexioned, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with an afro.

The 45 year old man attended the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening wounds and was later discharged.

The scene has been processed by the relevant police personnel and witnesses or persons with any information regarding this stabbing incident are encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.

Condition Update on Two Men Hurt in Industrial Accident Friday

At last check this morning (September 17th) a 29 year old St. George’s man hurt in an industrial accident in the Wellington Back Road, St. George’s area Friday morning (September 14th) had been admitted to a general ward and later discharged, while a 63 year old Pembroke man hurt in the same incident continues to recover in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

The Government Health & Safety Officer has been notified regarding this matter.

Motorcyclist Injured September 9th Now Recovering on General Ward

At last check this morning (September 17th) the 40 year old male motorcyclist seriously injured in a collision with two cars on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Commonland Point Road around 9:10pm Sunday, September 9th was listed in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital, after initially being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

 


All incidents are under investigation.
