Around 2:50am Saturday, July 14th police officers were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on The Glebe Road in Pembroke.

Details remain limited at this time but it appears that the car driver involved struck a wall in a residential area.

However, initial information suggests that no one was injured.

Inquiries are underway and any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Update: Reported Two Motorcycle Collision on Crow Lane

Inquiries continue regarding Friday morning’s two motorcycle collision on Cow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Lane Hill.

It now appears that the collision occurred as a male motorcyclist and a female motorcyclist were traveling toward the City of Hamilton, with the male rider attempting to turn into the RUBiS service station.

The riders involved – believed to be a 28 year old Devonshire woman and a 26 year old Southampton man – were hurt.

At last check this afternoon (July 15th) neither of the injured individuals were understood to be in the hospital.
