Reminder: Traffic Diversions, Parking Restrictions for Harbour Nights

The motoring public is reminded that the typical traffic diversions and parking restrictions remain in effect for this year’s weekly Harbour Nights in the City of Hamilton, which started on Thursday, April 26th and ends on Wednesday, August 29th.

The usual Wednesday evening traffic diversions (closed to vehicular traffic from 6:15pm until 11pm) include a section of Front Street between Court Street and Queen Street as well as a section of Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street – while the usual Wednesday evening restricted parking areas (no parking from 4pm until 11pm) are on Front Street between Court Street and Queen Street as well as Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street.

The continued cooperation of motorists regarding these weekly temporary traffic diversions and temporary parking restrictions is greatly appreciated.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
