|
Students from Clearwater Middle School [pictured, click photo to enlarge] and other members of the public took advantage of Friday's Community Awareness Day at Southside Police Station to learn more about policing and how the community and the Bermuda Police Service can work together to decrease crime. During the event, from 9am to 4:30pm, visitors were given a tour of the Southside facility and shown a video presentation highlighting the different aspects of policing as well as the importance of police and community partnerships. In addition police vehicles were on display, including the T3 Motion, police motorcycles and the Police Mobile Command Centre. Light refreshments were provided. It is anticipated that this event will take place at other police stations in the near future. |
All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
