While we are disappointed that the Bermuda Police Service yet again has not been given the specifics of The Sun's Omnibus survey so that we can adequately respond to the concerns levied, the Service is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone living in Bermuda.

We will continue to work with the entire community to ensure that their needs remain our focus. We fully recognize that law and order is at the very heart of society and we encourage members of the community to play an active part in the policing of their community. In a few weeks we will be unveiling a new Police Portal which will afford members of the public wider access to the Police organization and information.

We strongly believe that this will bring stronger partnerships with our community and make a significant improvement to the lives of everyone in Bermuda.
