At 10:10pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Barkers Hill in Devonshire involving two cars. It appears that a silver Opel Astra was traveling south down Barkers Hill when it was in collision with a white Skoda traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, both cars were extensively damaged. The driver of the Opel Astra (a 23 year old Paget man) and the driver & passenger of the white Skoda (a 40 year old Smith’s parish man and a 44 year old Devonshire woman) were taken to KEMH for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 6 people arrested for suspicion of impaired driving and 5 incidents of breaking and entering (1 in Pembroke, 2 in Warwick, 1 in Southampton and 1 in Sandy’s parish). There were also 8 damage only road traffic collisions and 4 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
