At 9:35pm on Friday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Lane in Devonshire, involving an auxiliary cycle and two motorcycles. It appears that a Honda motorcycle was traveling east on Parsons Lane when it was in collision with a Malaguti auxiliary cycle and a Yamaha motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, all three cycles were damaged and the rider of the Honda motorcycle, a 34 year old Devonshire man, sustained serious head injuries. The Devonshire man was taken to KEMH for treatment and subsequently arrested for suspicion of impaired driving. The rider of the Malaguti auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old Devonshire man and the rider of the Yamaha motorcycle, a 19 year old Warwick man, both received injuries to their right arm. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact PC Anthony Bartley on 295-0011.

At 12:05 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near the junction with Studio Lane. It appears that a Peugeot auxiliary cycle was traveling east on North Shore Road with a Honda auxiliary cycle traveling behind it in the same direction. When the Peugeot cycle attempted to turn right into the Bethel AME Church parking lot the Honda cycle overtook, resulting in a collision. Both cycles were damaged, with the Honda cycle sustaining extensive damage. The rider of the Peugeot auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old Southampton man, and the rider of the Honda auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old St. George's man, were taken to KEMH for treatment of injuries which are not life threatening.
