Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service is noticing an increase in breaking and entering in the western parishes, particularly in the areas west of Somerset Bridge. We are reminding the public to secure their homes at all times, and to be vigilant for suspicious persons or activities in their neighbourhood. We are also encouraging residents not to keep valuables or large sums of money in their homes. For more information on how to secure your home, click here.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their co-operation during the power outage crisis. We will have a full compliment of officers on hand for the weekend, including the Police Support Unit (PSU) and Reserve Police. We are also asking the public not to inundate the emergency 911 system with general inquiries. Instead, they should call their nearest Police Station – Hamilton (295-0011), St. George’s (297-1122) or Somerset (234-1010), and use 911 for emergencies only.
