Breaking & Entering

Around 12:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at an East Shore Close, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9:10am and 12:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a Game Boy Advance, two Nintendo video game systems, several items of jewelry and an HP laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Advisory - Power Outage
The Bermuda Police Service is urging members of the public not to rush to the gas stations that are open to get fuel or ice, as the lines are causing traffic congestion and making it difficult for buses and emergency vehicles to pass. There is no need to panic. Some areas already have power, and we are anticipating power being restored island wide in due course.
