Media Note

The Bermuda Police Service would like to clarify a specific incident as it relates to the fracas onboard the M/V Bermudian on Friday, July 1, 2005. There is no specific information to suggest the “initial” fight between the females on the boat was related to gangs. However, the same cannot be said for the subsequent series of activities that took place that evening. Police are still appealing for witnesses to these incidents onboard the vessel to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1-800-623-8477.
