Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service is aware of an investment opportunity currently circulating the island under the name ‘Global Cohesive Economics’ (G.C.E.). It appears that the scheme is targeted mainly at people with strong religious beliefs. The scheme promises quadruple returns on investments in excess of $500. This scheme and schemes of a similar nature are well known to officers of the Fraud Unit and numerous complaints have been received in the past from people who have lost large amounts of money on these types of scams. They are unlawful and anyone running one of these schemes is liable to prosecution.
