Injury RTC

At 12:55pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Front Street and Parliament Street in the City of Hamilton. It appears that a 59 year old female visitor to the island was walking across the pedestrian crossing when a red Isuzu truck traveling along Front Street turned north on to Parliament Street and collided with her. As a result, she sustained facial injuries. The truck received front end damage. The driver of the truck, a 42 year old Sandy’s parish man, was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

At 7pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at an Inghams Vale, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole approximately $900 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
