Injury RTC

Around 7:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Tee Street and Middle Road in Devonshire, involving a car and a Police motorcycle. It appears that the Police motorcyclist was traveling west on Middle Road and as he approached the junction with Tee Street, the car exited Tee Street intending to turn right on to Middle Road, causing a collision. As a result, the car received front end damage and the Police motorcycle received extensive front end damage. The Police motorcyclist, a 40 year old Devonshire man, sustained a broken femur and was taken to KEMH for treatment. The driver of the car, a 41 year old Hamilton parish woman, was not injured and was ticketed for driving without due care and attention. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

At 6 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Warwickshire Drive, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that he awoke at 5:45am and discovered that an unknown culprit had gained entry into his apartment. The culprit stole $250 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 11:50pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Langton Hill, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 11:30pm after hearing noises outside, he discovered that an unknown culprit had gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a tool bag containing various tools, a Nokia cellular phone and a silver CD Discman. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
