Injury RTC

Around 8:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Heathcote Hill and Sound View Road in Sandy's parish involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling east on Sound View Road and the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when they collided as the car attempted to turn on to Heathcote Hill. Both vehicles were extensively damaged as a result. The rider of the motorcycle, a 21 year old Sandy's parish man, was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of serious head injuries. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. The driver of the car, a 60 year old Sandy's parish man, was not injured. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact PC Nicole Smith on 295-0011.

Breaking & Entering

Around 2:45pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a Crown Hill Lane, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 12 noon and 2:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a silver Apex portable DVD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 14 year old Geisha Saltus of Devonshire. She returned home last night and was reunited with her family.
