Injury RTC

At 8:40 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Palmetto Road in Devonshire near the junction with Aeolia Drive involving a motorcycle and a car. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling on Palmetto Road when it collided with the car, which was turning into the entrance of the Tynes Bay Incinerator complex. The rider of the motorcycle, an 18 year old Hamilton parish woman, was taken to KEMH for treatment of her injuries which do not appear to be life threatening.

Breaking & Entering

At 5:40pm on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Deep Bay Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12 noon and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole U.S. $150 in cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

At 6:30am on Monday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 6am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his car, which was parked outside his Second Avenue, Devonshire residence. The culprit stole a Nokia cellular phone, 20 CDs and a pair of prescription glasses. The complainant's motorcycle, a blue Suzuki FB 100, was also stolen from outside the residence during the same time period. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Witness Appeal

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the disturbance at Southampton Rangers Sports Club that occurred around 5pm on Sunday, October 2, 2005. We are especially interested in speaking with anyone who may have pictures and/or video footage of the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011.
