The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 77 year old Peter Richold of Warwick. Mr. Richold was driving his car east on South Road in Southampton when he lost control and collided with a bus traveling in the opposite direction around 10:40am Friday. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance and subsequently pronounced dead a short time later. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Eddie Smith at the Traffic Enforcement Unit on 299-4265 or the main Police number, 295-0011. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
