Industrial Accident

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 63 year old Oliver Thompson of St. George's. Mr. Thompson fell approximately 12 feet from a ladder to the ground at a Wellington Street, St. George's property sustaining head injuries around 7:25am on Wednesday. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance and pronounced dead a short time later by an on call physician at the hospital. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Breaking & Entering

At 11:15am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Panorama Drive, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 4:15pm on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole $350 in cash and two men's diamond rings. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 10:55am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11pm on Tuesday and 9am on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a restaurant freezer. The culprit stole two 31 lb. rockfish. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their help in locating 15 year old Troy Harris Jr. He apparently returned to Observatory Cottage around 6pm on Monday.
