Robbery

At 10pm on Sunday, Police attended KEMH after a report of a robbery. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 35 year old Pembroke man, who works for Four Star Pizza. He stated that around 9:20pm he delivered a pizza to a My Lord's Bay Drive, Hamilton parish residence. As he was riding his motorcycle back along My Lord's Bay Drive towards North Shore Road, a man ran out of the bushes and pushed him off his cycle. The man then demanded money from the victim and took a Four Star Pizza money pouch containing approximately $200 from the Pembroke man's pocket. The suspect then made good his escape on foot towards North Shore Road. An area resident found the victim lying in the road and called for medical assistance. The victim was treated at KEMH for abrasions to his left hand, left forearm and knee. The suspect is described as a brown skinned male, approximately 5'11" tall of medium build wearing a striped red, blue and green polo shirt and jeans. He appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s. A short time later, Police patrolling the area arrested a 20 year old Hamilton parish man in connection with this incident. Inquiries are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the St. George's Criminal Investigation Unit on 297-1122.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 9 burglaries. There were also 20 damage only road traffic collisions and 9 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
