At 3pm today, Police received a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Trinity Church Road. It appears that the rider of the motorcycle, a 23 year old Hamilton parish man, was traveling east on North Shore Road when he lost control attempting to overtake another vehicle, colliding with the curb and then a pole. He was rushed to KEMH with head/internal injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Assault

Around 5:15 this morning, Police attended a reported assault at the junction of Reid Street and Joell's Alley in Pembroke. It appears that the victim, a 19 year old Warwick man, was involved in an argument with three men. A scuffle then ensued between one of the suspects and the Warwick man, who was stabbed in the upper torso. The suspects then made good their escape. The main suspect - described as a black male, approximately 5'8" - 5'11" tall with zigzag braided hair, wearing a white short sleeve shirt with green and blue stripes, blue jeans and black shoes - made good his escape on foot through Joell's Alley towards Front Street. The other suspects - described as a black male, approximately 5'8" tall of thick build with straight braided hair, wearing all black; and a light skinned male, approximately 5'11" tall of thick build, with a close haircut wearing a white short sleeve shirt with colours on it, dark coloured pants and gator print light brown & dark brown shoes - made good their escape on a motorcycle traveling east on Reid Street. The victim was taken to KEMH for treatment of his injuries and is currently in serious condition. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
