Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 65 year old Everest Mello of Southampton. At 9:30 this morning, Police attended a reported sudden death at a Granaway Heights Road, Southampton residence. Mr. Mello was found in an unresponsive state inside the home by a friend and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by an on call physician at 11:30am. Foul play has not been ruled out. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 51 year old Theodore Davis of Pembroke. Mr. Davis was found in an unresponsive state lying next to his motorcycle on Frog Lane in Devonshire around 12:40pm on Tuesday by a passing Police officer. The officer gave the victim CPR until paramedics arrived and took the Pembroke man to KEMH, where he was subsequently pronounced dead at 1:08pm by an on call physician. Mr. Davis apparently succumbed to a pre-existing medical condition. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
