Burglary

At 6:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cottage Hill Road West, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 7:15am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole 8 glass/PVC windows. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 5:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Tatem Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:40am and 3:40pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole several DVDs, an unknown amount of coins and a yellow & black DeWalt reciprocating saw. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

Around 2pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Blackwatch Pass in Pembroke. It appears that the car was traveling east at the junction of North Shore Road and Blackwatch Pass when the driver lost control causing the car to collide with a wall, overturn and end up on its roof in the westbound lane. The driver, a 24 year old Smith's parish woman, sustained a laceration to her right elbow. She was treated at KEMH and released. The car was extensively damaged. The vehicle was subsequently righted by Bermuda Fire Service personnel and Police towed it to the Ducking Stool park area.
