Injury RTC

At 4:35pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road involving a truck and a car. It appears that the truck was traveling west on North Shore Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the driver of the car lost control, crossed into the westbound lane and collided with the truck. The driver of the car, a 71 year old St. George's man, sustained an abrasion above his left eye. The driver of the truck, a 33 year old Paget man, was not injured. Both vehicles received extensive front end damage as a result. Traffic in the area was delayed for approximately an hour following the collision. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 5:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Skroggins Hill, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 4:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a Canon digital camera, two black laptop computers and a gold Fossil men's watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
